Methods for designing large scale collaborative processes

Area of application:

The design and modeling methods described here focus on processes that support knowledge sharing and creation through collaboration. They identify the social structures and communities that must be supported in such processes and tools needed to support such communities.

The MeLCa methodology has been developed by Prof. I.T. Hawryszkiewycz at the University of Technology, Sydney. It and its underlying ideas have been published in a book titled “Knowledge Management: Organizing the Knowledge Based Enterprise” published by Palgrave Macmillan in Basingstoke, UK.
