Evaluation Chains Modelling Tool

Download Method

Installation Instructions

The evaluation chains have been developed based on a close analysis of the challenges to evaluate enterprise architecture modelling and by a synthesis of contemporary generic methods to support decisions in business. It starts with different levels of goals, links them with the factors which influence or are crucial to realize the outcomes. Although the initiative is rooted in the domain of enterprise modelling also other complex ventures of companies can be evaluated and improved by employing the evaluation chain methodology.

Modelling with the eGPM Method

Please note that this method is only available in german.

from Project Page

File Size: 233 MB

Installation Instructions

Modelling with Unified Modelling Language (UML)

File Size: 212 MB

Installation Instructions

Unified Modeling Language (UML) is a standardized general-purpose modeling language in the field of software engineering. The standard is managed, and was created by, the Object Management Group.

UML includes a set of graphic notation techniques to create visual models of software-intensive systems.

Methods for designing large scale collaborative processes

File Size: 305 MB

Installation Instructions

The design and modeling methods described here focus on processes that support knowledge sharing and creation through collaboration. They identify the social structures and communities that must be supported in such processes and tools needed to support such communities.

 Modelling of Entity Relationship Diagrams

Download (beta)

File Size: 200 MB

Installation Instructions

In software engineering, an entity-relationship model (ERM) is an abstract and conceptual representation of data. Entity-relationship modeling is a database modeling method, used to produce a type of conceptual schema or semantic data model of a system, often a relational database, and its requirements in a top-down fashion. OMI ADOxx 1.0

Modelling by using the Semantic Database Design Method

File Size: 243 MB

Installation Instructions

The SDBD method assumes that the primary purpose of the future system is to automate current or planned activities of the enterprise. The method assumes (as do all database design methodologies) that different views on the enterprise, conflicts, and political differences will be resolved during the database design process.Project Website

Modelling of Event-driven Process Chains

Installation Instructions

An Event-driven Process Chain (EPC) is a type of flowchart used for business process modelling. EPC's can be used for configuring an enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementation.

Beta releases of modelling methods are published on their project pages. Check out the project list.
